520 people have filed applications to the Patrol Police of Poltava during the first hour.
On Wednesday, September 23, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk together with Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov announced the start of the admission to the Patrol Police service.
“As soon as we announced an admission to the Patrol Police service during the first hour in Poltava were handed in 520 applications. On the average in Ukraine it is 1 candidate in 20 is successful. They have to pass trainings and tests. The main thing – they should have a new philosophy of communication to the people. This Saturday we start a new Police service in Kharkiv,”- said Yatsenyuk.
“No city in Ukraine has met us like that – 520 applications during the first hour. The main thing of the new police is not their uniform or equipment – the main thing is your trust in them, “- said Avakov.
Yatsenyuk said that the new police will start to patrol in Poltava in February 2016. Their salary will be the same as in Kiev – 8 000-10 000 UAH.
“We invite all interested to the new police of Poltava. You have to train! The uniform and cars are already bought and we can’t wait the new police officers on the streets of Poltava “- said Yatsenyuk.
Politicians and the chairman of the Poltava Regional State Administration Valeriy Golovko personally talked to several ATO soldiers who came to file an application, asked them where they served and wished them success in passing the selection.
